Any relationship takes equal effort what that effort looks like from both persons may depend on what two people are wanting out of a relationship so people need to make sure they are compatible and if they are not compatible they need to not take it personally.

People who make another person put all the effort into a relationship are probably going to chase a lot of people off because they can find someone who will.

It depends on your definition of chasing somebody. Nobody should be chasing after someone running away I don’t care if you’re male and I don’t care if you’re female. You don't want a woman who is constantly texting and calling you and always asking you where you are going and what were you doing. That's being insecure and it will get on a person's nerves like white on rice.

There's a big difference between chasing and letting your relationship fall into place naturally. When both people share the same values and morals and beliefs they don't need to chase each other.
Chasing is defined differently for everyone.
To me a woman or a man that chases is constantly texting you; always insecure about where you were and what you are doing. She bugs you instead of allowing the relationship to be more equal in the sense that it's mutual and neither one of you has to chase, but relax and allow the relationship to flow mutually.
