My boyfriend left me for a video game during sex, should I be upset?

We were in the middle of having sex and my boyfriend’s PC was on and he got a notification that his base was being raided on his game and his friends were calling him on discord. He decided to stop and went off to his PC to play his game, he got angry at me for being upset and feeling second best. I walked off, showered and left and he didn’t say a word a word or even think to check on me. He acted like it was my fault for being upset.

Back story, we had barely spent any time together for weeks, he’d made no effort to meet up (we don’t live together) or speak to me. I’d message him and not get a response all day. I told him this that’s why we met up and in evening while we were having sex this happened. He tells me he loves me but I feel his actions say different.

What game is it? I mean, it at least has to be a good game. Regardless it seems doubtful that you're even second best, honestly it sounds like you're being treated like a booty call, reluctantly at that.

It's not just a game to these people, it's a collaborative experience where his group depends on him and he had invested a lot of time, emotion, and commitment in a way you and others just will not understand.

I would have done it when I was heavily into WoW. I never left during sex, but straight passed on it, and bailed on dates to raid many times. Simple logic, it's tough to find a new guild, but not to find new women in clubs or online.

I do agree that it's BS to be getting it on and leave all the notifications and volume on, that would be such split attention...
