I can’t say the comparisons to children are very romantic, at best it seems you’re infantilizing your muse, at worst she actually is a child that you’re expressing romantic interest in. I get that this is a puppy love to you, but if that’s what you’re going for don’t say that SHE is the child, say YOU are the child. You feel young, she makes you feel young, don’t say she reminds you of a kid.
Not to mention there’s very little rhythm here, what meter did you use? Even if you used free verse there’s a rhythm to it and I hear none of it when I say this out loud.
