I had a girlfriend oversea (from Brazil) and used to visit her when we were still together. On one of those visits she ended up pregnant. Even though we're no longer together, I still came for the birth of the child. I did a paternity test afterwards and it was positive.

We still keep in contact for our daughter. Our girl would still be a US citizen through me right? After the Holiday, I'll be heading to the embassy to do the process for children born abroad. We're not interest in getting back together and aren't in love anymore but I still want to be in my daughter's life.
