Is it weird that she moved to her home country after getting a U. S. passport?

I'm Vietnamese-American; my family moved to America to start new lives away from the communist government of Vietnam. My uncle, on a trip to VN, met his now-wife. She moved over here with him, opened a business, got a US passport, and the two of them are now making a lot of money. She's decided to take their 2 kids back to VN to live, because in her own words, "She likes living in VN more than in America." Even though she would be dirt-poor if it weren't for the opportunity she was afforded here in America. She's been in VN for 6 months now, and doesn't plan on going back to the States. Millions of people around the world would love the chance to move to America.

I don't think Vietnam is on anyone's list of "top countries in the world to live in," but America surely is.
