Can a relationship survive after one partner has cheated? Why or why not?

It’s possible , just depends on the chemistry and connection and love they share for each other , and if they are both willing to fix what was broken on the first place. I know a bunch of couples that are still together after one of them has cheated , they both chose to fix what was broken and now they are happy and content with each other. I cheated on a girl once and she still wanted to stay with me and fix what was broken. between us , but I told her it’s best for her to move on , but I was in shock she wanted to stay with me. Some people will stay and try to fix it , it doesn’t mean it’s now ok for you to go cheat lol it’s still a 50/50 chance on whether they will forgive you or not.

It can and has happened many times before. However, I wouldn't recommend letting a relationship continue after someone cheats. Trust is permanently gone and it has proven the other person was willing to risk their relationship and hurting you to be with someone else, even if it was a temporary arrangement.

No because that will always be remembered by the other person. And obviously the cheater is not fully interested in the relationship if they cheated in the first place.

Nope. Why? Because they're a cheater. That's thier character flaw. Regardless of what they may claim. They WILL cheat again. It's only a matter of time and opportunity. Anyone who thinks otherwise is deluding themselves. And I get WANTING to trust someone you have already formed a bond with. But ignoring REALITY never helped anyone longterm.

Regardless of what you feel you have to cut your losses in this situation. Accept that you chose a cheater. Own that reality and move on with your life.👍
