So I met this guy in Feb off hinge and we've been 2gether since. He's attentive, brings me food, is emotionally mature, good person, doesn't complain, well read, works at sewer and plumbing company says he makes 65k, etc. Both divorced. He has 4 kids, 16, 13, 6, 4. I have one (7 year old) from my prev marriage. I found out I was pregnant in June. He stood by me. Then he moves out his apt and in 2 his friends house. I was laid off my tech job in June and was receiving unemployment until it ran out in Dec. I'm using my retirement to get by but only have less than $11,000 left. In this time of being off I've done small side hustles, took a few courses to open up my own real estate transaction company but it hasn't taken off yet. Just need some clients which I'm working on. For the past 3 months he's been offering me $300 to $400 per month. I've never asked him for money but I'm in a bind and he offers no solutions but to move back n2 my parents house, other times he says nothing at all. So 2night I decide to ask if he'd be able to cont. to give me $400/month. He said that's how much I gave? I said well sometimes it was $300. He said and what would this be used for? i said umm to go towards my rent since u know im not receiving unemployment anymore and he said he could BUT he only gets a certain of vacation days and when he takes off he doesn't get paid. I told him I didn't understand bcus he's on child support for his two youngest paying $800 a month n there's no excuses there. I asked so what's the contingency? He said there wasn't any n that he wantd 2 be there 4 our Newbornson coming in Mar but I said " I thought ur job was givin u 2 wks of paid time off " he said yes but then said something else in which I stopped listening. We were committed 2 being 2gether for our son but he is putting me n a position where he is making me consider child support. meet me halfway financialy with his son by assisting me with putting a roof over his head. now he is on the couchsleep

Whoa, love, that's quite the situation! 😅 It sounds like you're juggling a lot right now. With a baby on the way and financial stresses, it's important to have clear expectations and communicate openly. It's great that he's supportive in some ways, but financial support for your little one should be a priority for both of you. Lovebombing with emotional support is awesome, but you need stability too. Make sure you both communicate your needs and find a middle ground. And hey, don't be afraid to lean on your support system, like family, during this tough time. Wishing you all the best, and keep that chin up! 🍼โค๏ธ
