I think you need to talk to a therapist about WHY you cheated on your girlfriend, unless you want to break up with her.

The only obvious reason you want to tell her is to get "forgiveness" about being careless and thoughtless. You will simply hurt her and make her doubt your love for her, and make her think there's something wrong with HER that you "needed" to cheat..

Cheating is ALL ABOUT YOU and you need to uncover where this urge comes from. And, usually, people who cheat once go on to cheat again and again.
