I didn't know they were called kept men. I just call then gold diggers as well. A lot of the men born in the 80s, 90s and 2000s have been that and the woman is usually the breadwinner or sole provider of the household. Its odd but it is what it is

Using anyone for money is wrong but I do think financially independent women make better partners since number one they know how to manage money and two aren’t needing to use someone for it. At some point if the man is making a lot more then she is it could be more beneficial for her to stay home or become more dependent.

The same goes for if the woman ends up making more money but either way people who are too big on being a stay at home mom or dad. Who don’t have a genuine connection with one another and most importantly God never end very well. Many people are looking for the wrong things and it can end in disaster for both people.

I will say most gold diggers aren’t honest about what they want and love bomb. I’m sure there is great stay at home dads the same as there is great stay at home moms. But many people manipulate someone by using sympathy to stay home playing video games doing nothing while the mom works 2 jobs so he can buy pot and Xbox live subscriptions.

Someone shouldn’t be staying home if one person is barely making ends meet but that’s a lot times who gold diggers end up taking advantage of if nothing else works out.
