Personally I have no experience with this sort of thing. As far as divorce is concerned I only know how things went for both my parents during their divorce. When my Dad stated seeing his now wife. He was open, and honest with her because he stilled had children in high school he had to pay support for. Also when my mom met her new husband she was straight up with him, and honest as I was still in high school, and would live with them.

Though when I first gave my man my number. I was straightforward, and honest with him about everyone in my life. Including my guy friend who does doordash orders sometimes at my work. I my boyfriend that he was nothing except a friend. I personally find that honesty goes a long way. My man was also honest with me in sharing that he still sees the daughter’s mom as it is both of theirs kid. As he explained exactly where she stood in his life I was grateful for his being open about everything. Basically I am thankful for his honesty with me, and I personally choose to be understanding. Especially since I am thankful for how my parents handled things during their divorce. Since my man made be a forethought. Telling me about the daughter’s mom from the get go, and keeping me in the loop. I valued how he chose to include me in his life, and be honest about the daughter’s mom still being a part of the picture for the daughter. Basically you do you, though, honesty really helps people to see where they are going to be in your life. Are they going to be an afterthought because divorce is messy, and it is easier to hide it. Or, will they be a forethought because you truly want them in your life.
