Where would you draw the line between appreciation, affection and love?

Affection as : a feeling of liking someone and truly caring for him or her.

Love as : strong physical attraction and emotional attachment.

Please feel free to change these definitions into something more suitable.

And when would one of these feelings be right or wrong in any given situation? I'm thinking about friends, family members and partners.

Appreciation, affection and love can all be manifested at different levels (sometimes shallow, sometimes deep).

• True appreciation, for example, can be a level of admiration for intellectual/physical/etc. (one or both).
• True affection can also be emotional/physical/both
• Love can be social/spiritual/both.
