i'd probably be less empathetic (but not a bad person, i'd have strong moral principles i think), and probably not very emotional at all. i'd probably be more assertive and aggressive, and would be probably a loud person. i'd probably be a lot more invested in my long standing more masculine interests, and they'd probably be my main passions in life: sports like krav maga & soccer, guns, military stuff, fitness (as a guy i'd probably be really into building muscle and getting stronger and stronger), prepping, gaming. a lot of the problems in my life are a lot less likely to have happened as a dude , so i'd probably be better off currently, though if my problems did still happen i could have been way worse off then currently. i'd probably have fucked up my life even more in that case, and could have gotten a sentence. i'd probably be more conservative. i think i'd have a better relationship with my family. i'd probably have joined the military or a career similar to that, or pursued some high earning prestigious job. i'd probably be more blunt and honest, and wouldn't be as concerned about if most people think i'm nice and likable. i'd probably care more about my financial status and worry more if i'm not living up to it. i'd care less about my looks and put less of my overall value on how hot i am. i'd probably be pretty confident about how i look because as a dude i'd probably have a really good body: 6ft+ and naturally have a good wide masculine body frame with an easy ability to gain muscle (like the guys in my family). i'd be probably be less artistic and more practical. i would be messier and less hygienic maybe. if most women considered me attractive enough, then i'd probably sleep around (when single, i dont think i'd be a cheater) and i'd have a much higher libido. i wouldn't be very interested in romantic stuff and love in general, only when i fall for someone hard

The surprising twist in your first line is that men are almost always more empathetic than women, which is why we don’t kill children as often, we generally are always the ones who put our lives in danger to protect or save other people or even animals.
We are the ones who emotionally break when a relationship ends, which is why men stay single much longer after a break up than a women generally does.
Also, male body issues are the same or worse than women’s, but society generally doesn’t care. Which is in part why males are the majority of suicides. And being attractive to women is very very hard regardless of your physique. Women only find approx 1% of men attractive without knowing them.
Just some male info. No hate.

1 yI would probably still be a conservative, I would definitely have played more sports, and I may or may not ever have gotten therapy and dealt with my mental issues. Maybe I would have also published a book by now lol. I don't know if I would have dated or married, though I doubt it. I think I'd still be single. My relationship with my parents would be way easier but also more shallow.
In short, in some ways it'd be better and other ways it'd be worse. I think I was born this way for a reason, and I wouldn't change it.

The only reason I know is because I sort of am already "the opposite sex," so I can look back at my life to key points where I know it would have made a big difference if I wasn't, because being the sex I am has made a big difference. For many people there isn't really a way to know what you would have done if you were some other version of yourself, even if you know what your parents would have done differently (if anything). Nature is strong and hard to predict.
I don't think there's any way to realistically answer that.
I am who I am because of the experiences I've had in life, and who my friends are. If I had been born female, my experiences and friends would likely have been very different, and would have shaped my personality in different ways.
I may have ended up more or less the same, but more likely, me and my life would have been drastically different, and it's impossible to speculate on what the final product would have been like.

The only thing I wouldn’t be able to do is wear make up and nice dressy clothes for ladies. I’d probably be a bit more competitive and be able to back it with a faster metabolism, better diet, head start on muscle, and certain hormones- testosterone and whatever.
Other than those things. I’d do exactly what I always have and talk to people as I always have. I’d probably talk more to guys. I’d be able to do things I can’t do as a lady much. Like wear pajamas outside of house and all. Go commando? I suppose 🤮 *cringe* I just don’t want a penis lol

u 1 yThis is like asking "how would you be different if you had three arms?" or "what if you had been born in a different country?" No one knows how their life would be different, and their speculation probably reflects only their understandings and misunderstandings about how life is experienced by the opposite sex.

I don't think that our personality depends on gender as much as it is commonly believed. Humanity is divided very simply, only into good and bad.

“The line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either -- but right through every human heart -- and through all human hearts. This question will only highlight the misconceptions and fantasy opinions we have of the opposite sex but I think I'd have joined the army (because I've always wanted to but women are sexually harassed there ffs), jerk off at least once a week, workout and build muscle, go outside at night without be scared I'll be rape or kidnapped and travel to countries where women are second class citizens. I think my life would overall be better.

1 yI’m a guy, but if I was a girl, I’d be a lot more sexually active, because girls can be as active as they want. Granted, this is all in hindsight, but I’d make sure that the only hair on my body was on my head. I’d want complete electrolysis on my entire pubic area. And I’d want a small curved barbell VCH piercing. I’d do my best to stay as fit as possible and maintain an athletically slim and toned body. And NO tattoos.

1 yWell, Life would be instantly easier, so I would be happier and less stressed.

Well, I live in the western world. A society that caters to women.
I would have endless female only groups, clubs, housing, funding, scholarships, gov programs, even female only buses, taxis, libraries, parking spaces.
The court system, school system, police system would be bias in my favour.
I could survive comfortably simply by existing. Live off a mans money, get free stuff or drinks just by taking care of myself or be taken care of by a man.
I could choose to sell my body physically or online, sell images of my feet, my farts, bath water, dirty panties, etc.
I Generally wouldn’t be held accountable for my actions, could blame “imbalances”, chemicals, hormones, men, etc for insane actions.
Could dress in literally nothing and have zero second thoughts about shame or dignity.
I would have generally a pick and choose option in dating or sexual partners as long as I at least kept a basic care of myself.
To name a few. You have a really weirdly biased idea of western society
- 1 y
It’s true about western society. It favors women.
- 1 y
Speak English
- 1 y
Nothing I pointed out was untrue.
You guys are saying that a government with a majority male rulership is beneficial to women more than men. I think you guys are primarily talking small picture. The western government banned hat pins because they were used as weapons and only women wore them, for example. Who would they have used them as weapons against?
- 1 y
Wtf? This is a first. But I’m sure you’d date Trump
There is certainly a conversation to be had about the pressures of sex in masculine communities, the shame that follows the concept of virginity among young men and the stark dichotomy of purity culture on women and men in conservative circles. There is also a conversation to be had about the dating world, how women receive tenfold the attention men get due to being hypersexualized but you’re assuming women not only want to be sexually objectified like that, but choose to. As if this is not the result of men being so desexualized and lonely and told that their worth only matters based on the notches on their bedpost that of course, women become these objects of not only sexual goals but social idealism in masculine circles. However, saying that women ultimately have an advantage because they get more matches than you is very ignorant and you clearly do not understand history as it pertains to the whole of society, women included. It just brings the entire discussion down and invalidates the argument. It’s the same logic that says the woman is at fault for being raped, as if she chose her rapist herself. You see what I’m saying here?
- 1 y
It’s easier for women to get a date than men do. That’s why women are very picky.
You didn’t read any of that, did you? You assume societal advantage based solely in romantic/sexual exploits, do you believe that’s all society revolves around?
- 1 y
You refuse to understand that American society favors women. Who’s got more to lose in a divorce? That’s why I’ll never marry, you’re out to cheat, take our $, our children
You do realize the only reason women “win” more money for child support is to do with the fact that, on average, she gets paid less than her husband and the courts agree that the child should have the same standard of living in a shared custody situation?
If she made more, she would pay. The reason she doesn’t is because the man makes more than she does
- 1 y
But why can’t the women work, make her own $ instead of us providing everything? Both sides have to step up
- 1 y
Yes Society is gynocentric, men have always protected women and provided for women. Which is why 99% of war deaths are men.
You are the one speaking of the small picture, banning hat pins happened where?
Never heard of it.
But you can easily see all the women only things everywhere is society.
- 1 y
Wage gap is a myth. No serious economist would state otherwise. Taking ALL jobs of women vs ALL jobs of men would give you a gap based on men doing the deadly jobs that pay more, but if you took EXACT jobs… men do not make more than women. Actually women who have never married or had kids make more money than men on average.
I think you’re missing the part where I said she only “wins” in the divorce because she is treated worse on average and the courts recognize this and make up for it. If the world is so gynocentric, why aren’t all women lesbians?
If society is truly as you say and only women have power, what’s stopping women from just having platonic life partners in other women and only using men for pleasure and breeding purposes outside of whatever masculine tasks you think men should be assigned?
- 1 y
The lesbian thing doesn’t even make sense.
But I never said women have “power”… although most of society’s changes are because of females.
A gynocentric society provides and protects women as best they can. Which is why women are given less harsh sentences for crimes, the school system caters to how girls learn, girls can wear practically nothing in public without recourse and still be considered the victim when her poor choices get her in trouble.
This doesn’t mean that men are the ones in power, they generally are, but like most men, we still provide and protect women above all else. - 1 y
Everything bar funding, scholarships and some other things is practically nonexistent in my country which is also in the western world. Stuff like the court system bias is true for child support cases but pretty much nothing else. The living comfortably simply by existing is just not realistic. There'd be no poor women or homeless women if that were the case. Accountability is something that's up to the person, nothing to do with hormones or any of that, sexual options would be bigger true.
Standing to use the bathroom. And sticking it to a woman.
