Eventually, she had enough and told me she didn’t know if she loved me romantically or as a friend. We broke up, but an hour later, she came to my classroom to apologize and told me she wanted me forever. The next day, she again told me she didn’t know how she felt about me.
Since then, we’ve forgiven each other, but she hasn’t forgotten the harm I caused her. I promised to change regarding my jealousy, but I couldn’t keep that promise and kept having outbursts, though without insulting her this time. I felt like one of my friends liked her because he would always greet her with a big smile, and she would respond the same way.
Now, I feel like she doesn’t love me as much anymore, because she shows it a lot less. She says she’s afraid to show her feelings and get hurt again, because I promised I would change, but I haven’t. We don’t talk on the phone as much as we used to, we text a lot less, and there are far fewer hearts and “I love you”s in our conversations. Yet, she says she still loves me the same way.
What should I do to fix things? Please help me.
