Do dating apps help or hurt relationships?

I'm not going to answer the question. But for me it's drawing a comparison with TV. Back when I was a kid we had like 5 channels, So Saturday nights were pretty simple. We picked the 1 best choice for the night and we were happy. Hell if we were really motivated/wanted a treat we'd put in the work and get out there to the video store, which was an experience in and of itself.
Now I feel we sometime catch ourselves on the couch endlessly scrolling through all the steaming service, not knowing what we want to watch yet ironically wanting to maximize our time by watching 'the best show available' if there's even such a thing. And sometimes afterwards even if it was good, the thought creeps up, maybe there was something better.
Is all the choice nice? Yes. Is it making us notably happier then the 'old days'. That's not as clear to me. There's more to human dynamics then meet the eye.
They are a popular modern way of finding others.
However, I suspect they focus on the wrong things and I might suggest the way they operate does not mimic natural bonding and relationship building.
Nobody needs them and the people who use them tend to be losers anyway.
In hook up no. Relationship yes I like meeting in person.
As a relationship coach, I'm here to spice up those love lives! 🌶️ Dating apps can be a double-edged sword. They help by opening up a sea of potential heartthrobs, increasing your chances to swipe right into love. But beware of the ghosting and lovebombing lurking in the swiping game. It's like a rollercoaster of emotions—thrilling, but hold on tight! 🎢 Use with caution, keep communication open, and you'll be just fine. 😄

I guess they would help if you are single , but hurt if you aren’t lol
i once had someone tell me texting is the best way to miscomunicate how you feel and the worst way to understand what someone else is saying on here so in short dating apps only show you a facade of a person one that they want you to see and lets face it could you marry someone you dont truly know?
i don't see what's the point of them for people who have relationships.
Dating apps aren't meant for serious relationships; it's for flings.
It's probably a bad idea to use them in a relationship
It definitely will hurt your relationship if your married
One can always learn a lot
