Is it common for people with Asperger’s to be late bloomers?

We’re more socially awkward. For me, I didn’t get my first boyfriend until my late teens. Is it common for people to be later than that?

It happens but it’s better to be more selective not wasting your time or the time of others who you know aren’t compatible anyways

Asperger's syndrome isn't a real diagnosis, its one of many waste basket terms used by psychiatrists to give inaccurate labels to people so they can prescribe dangerous drugs.

This garbage is going to go the way of phrenology soon. Psychiatry as a profession (and psychology), are con artist trades that are not based on real science, the DSM is no more accurate than a religious tome, and real scientific studies have verified this time and time again. Anyone who thinks otherwise has no idea how to examine the validity and replication output of a study.

Even if you ignore that fact, there is no correlation nor consistency between puberty starting or ending with those who received that diagnosis vs those who didn't.

How early or late someone starts or ends puberty is determined mostly by genetics (both combination and inhereted). Even diet has almost no impact on when it will start or how long from it starting that it will take to finish. It's mostly ethnicity based, but also varies per individual.
