Thoughts are random electrical impulses. Most of them do not matter.

If ALL YOU'RE DOING IS THINKING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE, well then, you have a problem. But it's still not cheating. You need to see a therapist...

It's a bit extreme to need a therapist for just thinking about other people. It's imagination and fantasy surely that is perfectly normal and natural for the "chaotic" mind everyone has. Only when it becomes a distraction is it a problem and then resolving it internally or as a couple is the next step.

No. I consider cheating to be acting on those thoughts. Purely thinking about something doesn’t make it a reality. If I think about stabbing someone, but do not act on that thought, then does that still count as stabbing someone? No, it doesn’t.

It’s only considered cheating if you act on it , but thinking about it is just thinking about it. That’s something only you can figure out, as to why you are thinking about screwing someone else , other than your partner? We see attractive people all the time through out our lives so if You really love and care about your partner , you wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize that relationship with them. Having fantasies about someone else is innocent as long as you don’t act on it. If you act on it , then yes that makes you a cheater

If you don’t act upon it, it’s not cheating. Just like the fact I have dark dirty fantasies.. I don’t plan or want to act upon it.. I know the thoughts themselves is not coming from a a healthy source but the thoughts cause temptation which causes people to act upon them.

I feel guilty when I have such thoughts, but as long as I pray to God, I won’t go fourth because I’m a believer and I’m not trying to get any more further away from Him than i already have…

It’s not cheating or bad, it is normal.

If my girlfriend said “this actor is so hot” or watched porn of a particular pornstar I wouldn’t classify as cheating unless she actively tried to leave me & slept with other people who weren’t me / tried to get romantic and sexual with those people in question.

It is normal to think those things, though it is also normal for us to stay loyal & committed to our partner that we hold dear.

No, it's not cheating to think another woman/man is attractive. Just like any quality - there is someone out there that is better at _______ than you. Also consider, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

It isn't cheating unless you've broken or crossed a specific boundary you set up when you started the relationship.
