My boyfriend has had 2 DUI before he met me (in one scenario he was not driving actually but sitting in the car with a drink) and has to do all these classes etc has a breathalyzer. He drinks one beer every single day but I have noticed if he has another drink and half of liquor etc (does not take much to get him inebriated is my point) he is at risk of blacking out, he has gotten blacked out 5+ times over the past 3 months of me knowing him. One of the times he went into his house to find his vape and then just fell asleep so I waited outside for an hour then went to return his stuff to the front door that he abandoned in the car when I realized he may be asleep. During a few of the blackouts, he has gotten angry with me. Also side note he is diagnosed w bipolar and takes lexapro which is NOT to be mixed w alcohol as it can cause severe mood swings (I have made him aware of this).
When he gets drunk he will get really mad at me for stuff I have done in the past aka staying mad at how often I brought his ex up but thats cus they followed each other on instagram for a long while of us dating (despite the fact she cheated on him in their home they had together) and she was still sending him reels periodically and I was uncomfy even tho he stopped responding shortly after meeting me. The last episode we went to hangout w his friends at this roller rink at night, I asked if he was ok because he was walking stumbly and he got pissed at me and then said we are leaving, then outside started to call me a bitch, cunt, and screamed "fuck you" at me while literally running away even though I was asking him not to cus it was dark outside in this huge lot and I could not find the car. He has talked to me like this 3 other blackouts then later apologized. I then found him slumped on the floor against a wall outside the rink and he was like "take me the fuck home" then passed out in the car and did not remember anything the next day. Would you dump him?
