Should I tell my friends?

So a new boy moved to my school at the beginning of the year and one of my friends has liked him since. He was in a relationship (not officially dating; he's very religious and not allowed to) but ended it with her about a month ago because the girl wasn't all that into him and he liked my friend. I set them up and became pretty good friends with him in the process. They were "in like" for a while but my friend ended it, but I'm still pretty good friends with him. The problem is that I've had a thing for him since the start of the year but never said anything because of my friend. I think he kind of likes be because we tease each other and kick each other (as a joke) and my friends have told me that he talks about me like he did my friend when he liked her. I don't know if I should mention it to any of my friends because I'm not sure if my friend still likes him and even though they weren't dating and ended things like a week it, we still consider him "her ex." I'd just like to get it off my chest, even just to one person, but I don't know if it's a good idea.

If it were me I wouldn't want to be the "rebound girl" who gets the leftovers. I suggest letting it cool down and give everyone a chance to catch their breath. For being religious, he sure sounds more like a player to me, especially if he is having sex with any of these girls. I can't understand why some girls would not give some guy the time of day until a bunch of other girls were also interested in him. Crazy, right? Sounds more like someone to avoid in my opinion. He's got too many bids and it's just driving the price up.

I would casually mention it to ur friend. Just say that u might be interested in this guy and see what she says. Sonner or later she might find about it anyway.
