Should I tell my best friend or keep it a secret 😂?

My best friend confessed to me that he has a crush on my sister and keeps asking me what she likes etc so he can buy her gifts. Now I've been playing along with it for a while just for a laugh (and because I thought he was taking the piss) but I've just discovered he is dead serious!

The problem is, I don't think he's realised and I certainly haven't told him. My sister... Well she was born male and changed to female when she was in her early 20's

We have accepted her for who she is, we no longer refer to her as Luke, we no longer refer to her as a he. She chose to be a woman as she feels she was born into the wrong body and we respect her decision.

The issue now is, do I tell my friend that she's a transgender male to female or just ignore it? If he figures it out I could argue that I didn't realise and I thought he know but still accepted her for that?

I don't want to destroy our friendship but at the same time, my sister hasn't had a huge amount of surgery so I would have thought he'd have clicked by now that there's next to no cleavage!

I would not tell him.
Honestly it isn't your place, it's hers (not cool on his end either to go after his best friends sister, like honestly... Bro Code?) He can't even be mad at you for not telling him, I would be way more mad that he is trying something at all.
She will tell him if it ever comes to that but honestly I doubt it ever will. She will probably tell him to hit the road long before the subject ever comes up. Who wants to date their brothers b. f? Besides, trans people can be kind of sensitive about the subject and it's best to let the pieces fall where they may, (who knows, he might not mind) and you are going to have to come to terms with that if it does go that way.

Tell him. Its best to be honest. And also tell him you had no idea that he was serious. If he really is your friend, he'll care about the friendship and respect your family's support for your sister. He might not still want to date her but he should still respect you and the friendship. This is your time to play the role of a brother and a friend.
