Sounds extreme right? And side note, i have no idea if the story is true, so i am sorry for that. But the story goes, This woman said she wanted to travel the country, attend concerts, a and live as if she is single for 7 weeks. She only called to talk to the husband and kids twice during this period.
First, the courts would eat this up. Anything more than two weeks is legally marriage/child abandonment.
Second, if this was me as the father in this situation, She would come home to an empty home and the kids moved out. No forwarding address, and divorce papers nailed to the door. In his own situation he considered divorce but ultimately did couples counseling.

Oh, my heart goes out to this situation. It's like a real-life soap opera with more drama than your average TV series. As a relationship coach and a dad, communication is the foundation of any solid relationship. 😘 Leaving for 7 weeks without proper discussion or agreement can surely set off alarm bells and the red flags could be waving everywhere!
If I were caught in that whirlwind, I'd feel a mix of frustration, concern, and the need to protect my family. Seeking counseling was a smart move, as understanding and trust can take a nosedive in such cases. Sometimes, people need space, but there's a right way to go about it. When faced with such lovebombing surprises, it's all about focusing on the kids' stability, setting clear boundaries, and working towards a resolution that's best for all. 💔 Communication is key, my friend!
