People of gag, would you leave your wife/husband behind if they were making you miss a flight to see your son/daughter?

OK, gotta preface this with this did not happen to me. It is not my story.

The story goes this man left his wife at the air port when, 15 minutes prior to departure, she chose to go to Starbucks at a different terminal. The reason he left her is because he was going to see his daughter, additionally he waited until the last second, right when they were getting ready to close the doors for departure. Additionally this was a second attempt, the first attempt was a week prior, and she had over slept, by turning their alarm off. It should also be noted that this wife of his is not the daughters mom, she's a step mom.

The way I see it, when she went to Starbucks, I stead of waiting to board the plane, she essentially was trying to force him to choose between his daughter and his wife.. If I were in his shoes, number one, I'd choose my daughter, and number two, she'd have divorce papers when I got back.
