Polyamory isn't cheating if everyone is consenting. Cheating means doing it without consent of your partner.

With that out of the way, cheating still happens in polyamory relationships, especially ones where there are great communication such as kitchen table polyamory units. Someone can still cheat on a partner by not communicating that a new person is potentially being pursued. It brings a health risk to everyone involved when it's not communicated.
