This question is about how you express love. Just like how different languages have unique ways of communication, we each have our own "love language." Some people express love through words, actions, gifts, or quality time. how you connect with others nd show affection?
1 yIf love was a language, I think mine would definitely be a mix of quality time and acts of service. I’m the type of person who really values spending time with the people I care about—whether it's just chilling and talking or doing something fun together. I feel like being present in the moment, even if it’s just doing something simple, shows someone you genuinely care. But at the same time, I also love doing little things for people—like helping out when they need it or surprising them with something sweet. To me, those small acts mean so much because they show that you're thinking of them without needing big, dramatic gestures. It’s like saying “I see you” without even using words. I think love is all about those small, everyday moments that build a connection. How about you? What’s your love language?

That’s really sweet! I think mine would be words of affirmation and quality time. I lve meaningful conversations and little reassurances, but also just being present with someone, even in silence. The small, everyday moments definitely matter the most... 🤍

Words, quality time, and physical touch.
I used to leave notes on the bathroom mirror at night. And when my ex would wake up for work, and go to brush his teeth he'd see it. Or I might leave it on the door before he walks out. They were all mini letters expressing my love, or just a joke that I know would make him smile.
It's messed up... cus we didn't stay together due to his mental illness. But I remember he sent me a text one day, and it was a pic of a note I had left for him years ago. I guess he was just letting me know that he still had it.

Aww, that’s so sweet and sad at the same time. Love like that never really fades—it just lingers in little reminders. 🤍...

every moment in time has different meanings and I don't look at love language like other's
i look at it as that's just who I am and more
And I think many people are like me and they see and feel things deeper.
And you say I love you
And thank you , inmany different ways not just language.20 Reply

Great question! If love was a language, mine would definitely be quality time. 😊
There's nothing like spending cozy evenings with my family or sharing deep conversations to express affection. For me, undivided attention and shared experiences speak volumes. Also, I'm a sucker for a cute note or a spontaneous adventure!
How about you? What's your love language and how do you lovebomb your special someone? 💕00 Reply

1 yAs far as I recall correctly, the 5 traditional love languages are 1 Words of Affirmation, 2 Quality Time, 3 Acts of Service, 4 Physical Touch, and 5 Receiving Gifts, right?
For me, even though I'm not quite sure of this, receiving gifts is dead last on my list, and it's not even close. While gifts can be nice and all for the huge most part I just don't get too emotional over material possessions. I even literally threw away literally ALL my childhood possessions and photos because they were taking up too much space and I literally didn't give a shit about them.
As for the first one, most likely words of affirmation. Words and conversations are how I seem to connect best with people. Especially since I have trouble with nuance and reading the room if things aren't explicitly said. Quality time and acts of service are probably high up there too though. No use telling the person you love them if you don't SHOW it too. If it was just one or the other between saying you love them but not showing them, or showing them but not saying it, I'd absolutely choose the second one. And physical touch is nice too, though not super high on my priority.

1 yI show love by caring for them… taking care of little things about them… spending quality time… supporting them and sharing both happiness and sad parts of life…. Be there for them whenever they need me… and i expect the same as a love language….
i’m not vocal about my love for others and it has created problems in my past relationship too..

Your way of loving is beautiful—actions speak louder than words. The right person will feel it without needing constant reminders. 🤍...

Thank you … i wish she too understood🙂
- 1 y
She has a point if she needs to be reminded then you have a problem and I don't know if making her aware will help fix the problem or make it worse. I wish you good speed my friend Good luck
1 yAccording to my wife, it is acts of service. Hers tends to be gifts... mine is definitely not that. I've noticed words, quality time, get sprinkled in there once in a while. Then we fuck a lot, so that helps.

Yeah I know I was confused myself maybe he needs numbers to measure the inches or the lack of thereof.
It's because love isn't emotional, it's transactional. Hence you need math to negotiate proper terms
- 1 y
@Cuminginside OMGG😂 I didn't went that much deep when i saw this comment yesterday😭😂 i was really confused lol..

I'll give you that Yes it seems to be that way nowadays If you don't produce you don't get their juice f****** pathetic but can't argue with the confident mind and the truth I think I've seen once in my life a couple that love each other no matter how poor they were only once maybe that's why I'm such a cynical psychiatrist.
- 1 y
Oh pretty girl listen I go slow because you're a virgin but either way I go deep eventually.
- 1 y
@captain_voidwalker but noo.. i think atleasf 75 % love should be about emotional connection..
- 1 y
@Cuminginside 🙂💅🕳️🚫..
- 1 y
You're right about 75% although I'm going to go with 50/50 50% physical so you could deliver the package and the load and 50% mental or spiritual or both. My solution is 30% physical 30% mental 30% spiritual and 10% God how you like me now?
- 1 y
@Cuminginside That formula works great… if you’re trying to build a situationship, not a connection😌💅..
- 1 y
Yeah but like a cell phone signal You might lose The connection if that's all you're trying to do That's why you have to learn to spread out your signal Wi-Fi 5G service blah blah blah
- 1 y
@Cuminginside Spreading signals? Sounds like a lot of effort just to stay unread...
📱😌 All relationships are situational, it's why the divorce industry is 5 times larger than the marriage industry
- 1 y
If all relationships are situational, maybe the problem isn’t love—it’s people treating it like a contract instead of a connection. No wonder the divorce industry’s thrivin.. @captain_voidwalker
No the problem is people don't treat it like a contract they jump in without considering the terms and conditions.
