How do you feel when you find your dream guy/girl but for a reason it doesn't work out?

Personally if i wasn't a man of science, i would of really believed that i'm cursed because everytime i find my dream woman, there will be a reason for backing off or having a failed relationship...

For example: it's either she lives in a foreign country or she's a lot older than me or a lot younger, sometimes she's married and sometimes it just fails...

There was this one girl, Faith. Cute in every way. I knew she had a guy but couldn't help myself. Interacted as much as I could but tried to be subtle about it. Couldn't help but feel she was my girl and was stolen away from me so to speak. It would have only caused problems had I told her how I felt.
