I always wonder why I never get the guy I like?

I don’t like saying this about myself but I am beautiful and attractive, I’m the top student at uni, I have so many other good characteristics which I know can be very intimidating to guys. So many guys approach and like me but these guys are usually not the type that I would date. It’s always very frustrating that so many guys like me but not the guy that I like. Do you guys have any explanation as to why?

You said you want them to make first move. Then in that case you keep yourself available in the situation where the guys of your type does exist. For example take part in some groups activities where such guys are there. Talk to them, join library or such groups, get the seat closer to such guys. You need not to approach them for relationship or dating but at least talk to such guys simply as social girl or friendly talk kind. You can give them signs so that they could know you are interested and available for dating. Try to know are they ready for having relationship or not? Because the kind of guy you want to have, might be waiting to get settled first before dating or might be more committed to their goals now so could be feeling dating as distraction. So if that's case then you need to have patience also. But always makes yourself in close range with these guys so whenever they are ready they could approach you. Stay friendly to them and maintain a basic contact.

Perhaps that is the problem. But also the problem is that you very conceited and that i a very big turn off in women. I know i can't stand women that are like that. Plus because you think you are beautiful you think you are entitled to a certain type of guy and quite clearly they are not interested in you.

This is karma causing you to be on your own, it just goes to show it does not benefit women having such high 'standards' as they call it, you should go for the guys that are interested in you. Those are the type of guys that you should be with.

No doubt you are chasing after the ' alpha' bad guy type who are as thick as shit. You are just asking for trouble by doing this.

I wouldn’t say I’m conceited or act as if I’m the most beautiful girl ever. I’m actually “not my words” very down to earth. I tutor people, I love helping people, I treat everyone nicely ( that’s why that kind of guys approach me), I'm everyone’s friend. I’m not looking for the bad alpha guy but I’m looking for a guy that is at least hardworking because I’m very hardworking myself, I keep working on myself, I workout, I study, I do all I can.

"Hardworking", there are lots of hardworking guys. I wonder if you're saying "hardworking", but meaning rich. Lots of women have this "3 sixes" thing stuck in their head. 6 feet tall, 6 figure income, 6 pack abs. 14% of men are 6 feet or over (approx. 2 meters). 12% have a 6 figure income. How big do you think the portion of the ven diagram is where those to overlap? I'm not even going to worry about abs. This "I deserve, I'll never settle attitude leads to solitude. If every women deserves a top their guy, lots of you are going to do without. A guy 4 or 5 centimeters taller than you, making a decent but not extraordinary salary, with a little extra around the middle, may be a genuinely fine individual. If he doesn't check all the boxes of what you feel you "deserve" though, he doesn't get a chance. Romance is not a shop where you get to pick exactly what you want.
Now, that said, don't pick a guy that is an addict, an abuser, who makes no effort to support himself. Being alone is better than with some guys. Also be aware, romantic relationships are in something of flux right now. You say men in your area "don't appreciate" you making the first move, well sorry women have made it difficult to approach them. You may have to find a guy that can get over his own assumptions about gender roles, not necessarily a bad thing. Lastly, I know you're lonely, but as long as it seems like you've been waiting, you are actually quite young. When you're wanting and not getting, time drags. Don't assume that 25 is the end of the line.
