I personally don’t get the concept of hall passes. Like why give a free ticket to cheat? I don’t even have a celebrity crush that I would use it on and I for sure will never use it on a person that I know IRL. A girl I knew asked for a hall pass from her boyfriend to sleep with the artist she went to a concert for and I think that was messed up.

1 yI have one right now, because my girlfriend of 18 years a has been very ill for most of that time. It’s a whole thing, long story. Sucks for both of us, but mostly for her.
So…sex isn’t really a possibility for me with her for the foreseeable future, and other than a few times, has really been possible for over ten years now. Maybe even more, it was really only the first three years that we had a regular sex life to speak of. And the last seven years have pretty much been dry as a bone. So I’m dying over here. But I’d never quit on her.She told me I can do my thing on the side, but she’d prefer more like one-nighters, not a steady person. And she just doesn’t want to know about it. I guess I don’t rule it out, but I’ve never taken advantage of it. I don’t know, too many things to go sideways, plus at my age, it’s not like women are usually out and about looking to hook up. The girls in that phase of life are too young for me. I suppose I could let it slide since it’s not something where we’d need to emotionally connect, but even then…. I gotta think young women have better options than my geriatric ass😂
Sleeping around is kind of a young person’s game, really, and my hall pass is coming too late in life to really use it. Also just seems like it could lead to all kinds of trouble, so I think I probably just won’t.

1 yYou actually know someone who did that? That's insane. I don't want to say the terrible things I think about your friend and also her boyfriend. That is crazy. I have never actually heard of this in real life. I always thought it was a hypothetical "would you ever" type thing. I'm stunned speechless.
Hall passes are... just the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. Now made sad, by your telling me it's a real thing you're seen in your life.

I blame the boyfriend too. He said yes. They're both fucked.
It's disrespectful as hell! I would break up with a girl immediately if she ever asked me that. Some people...

I can't respect that particular kink. I know people have it. I just don't get it.
It's the only kink I feel like it's right to feel ashamed of. There's something wrong with those people - 1 y
Haha I guess I spoke hastily when I said it was the only fetish. You have a point 🙂

Is it cheating if you're given a hall pass and communicate about it?
Genuine question, as it sounds similar to an open relationship lol11 Reply

On Girls Ask Guys, I aim to help unravel the mysteries of relationships, and hall passes are definitely an enigma! 😏 Hall passes can be tricky business. It's like a game of relationship roulette! For some, it's a way to explore crushes without relationship guilt. For others, it's crossing an unspoken line. Trust and communication are the vital ingredients here. If it doesn't feel right, it's simply not the right move in your relationship. Keep that communication flowing and those boundaries clear! 💖

1 yNo hall pass for either of us, though my wife knows what would happen if my favorite actress were to show up at our door. 😎
I also know what she would do if her favorite hunk showed up.
Of course, none of that is ever gonna happen.

4.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. No , if a hall pass is offered , then that means that relationship is pretty much doomed and probably best to go your separate ways and it probably means your partner already cheated on you so they feel guilty for doing so

Yea they are trying to sugarcoat it to make it seem like it was no big deal , my one ex did this to me after she cheated on me , even though I didn’t know she cheated on me at the time she told me this , I was dumbfounded as to why all of a sudden she is telling me it’s ok for me to hook up with someone else , I was like ummmm ok , why don’t want me to hook up with someone else? Did you hook up with someone else? , and then she put her finger up implying one time while she was smirking , I said Good bye get the fuck out of my life you cheating whore , and that was the last time I spoke to her
1 yIf you're asking for a "hall pass," it seems like you want the security of being in a relationship, but you don't want to give up the fun of being single.
I personally think a relationship with "hall passes" is doomed to fail.
322 ReplyI hope no one was asking you for a hall pass.
What got you curious about them?
I can sort of understand that, but I also think it would basically kill the relationship.
Whoever tells their partner they want a hall pass is basically saying they're only with their partner because they settled.I can understand it. Like if you a chance to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience with a different person. But on a celebrity it would probably be wasted, unless you REALLY wanted to tell people, "Guess what, I f**ked Ted Danson!" or something like that.
But it would kill the relationship. Or the other person would silently hate you for wanting a hall pass.No I agree.
Are you in a relationship now?Oh wow your question made the big time.
You're like on the front GAG page.
Kinda cool. Are you a college student?
Do you know what you're doing after college?
I tried to chat you. Just a thought.I'm finishing high school actually.
Cool everyone winds up an office drone eventually I think.
Got like a company in mind?Yeah I want to go to college.
What's your major?
You want to start your own business? Do you have a business idea?I have no idea. Maybe psychology or economics, but I really don't know. I don;t think I could survive studying computers, though anything that involves money involves computers now.

1 yOf course not. That is degenerate shit.
Part of being virtuous and a good person and having successful society is denying yourself at times and doing what is right and good for others.
A rotted out, vulgar, failing society and failed humans just want to do every sick thing they crave at all times no matter what.

But in reality commitments to OH and kids dont stop.
I wouldn't want my OH to be with anyone else. And pretty sure she wouldn't let me be with anyone.21 Reply 9.9K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I have no idea what a hall pass actually is.

Yes, it is, and I believe it's much more likely to be beneficial to both parties than the reverse, I mean, think about it -- if the guys strays outside the relationship, the relationship almost always suffers, but whether we want to admit it or not, many, if not most, M/F associations are helped by the female being encouraged to see others as she deems appropriate. After all, this is what happens in nature, is it not?
İ am not interested in cheating, i would want it to be a 3 some, i want my girl in it not outside of it.

1 yThat would be the equivalent of having an open relationship. And honestly I never understood the point of being in an open relationship, at that point you might as well be single and sleep around.

1 yHall passes are for celebs usually (people who you'll probably never meet let alone invoke any interest from) thats why theyre given out. Much different than having an open relationship or marriage which some us to keep themselves together.

When i was 19 my cuz was 22 and i was pulling grape vines out of his driveway area when a married woman left her husband and kids to come and flirt with my cuz whilst ignoring my existence entirely. This woman surely was in a open relationship and her husband green lighted her to try to sleep with my cousin. Bro this guy has pussy just thrown at him and he's like a 6 or 7 outta 10, nothing crazy but these girls are never ugly
1 yNo we don't and we never will. Not over my dead body☠️

It's sooo hard to mend. So hard to put back the shattered pieces. Your self esteem and self worth affects every area of your life.
11.2K opinions shared on Relationships topic. No that’s crazy and I don’t believe in that. Thats asking for permission to cheat and if you get permission, you’ll only do it again without even asking for it
22 ReplyYea that was very messed up and would never allow it and honestly if my partner even thought about it I wouldn't be with her...
By the way, happy birthday 🎂🎉🎁🥳
