Try out a scenario where he and his much loved wife have "retired" from sexual intimacy, while he still has "the thirst", but she no longer does. I'm not going to get into lecture about a man, even an old one, being validated and strengthened by sexual intimacy. The lack of it weakens his grip on life; honor, courage, and commitment, even though his wife is not at fault.

I can envision his wife granting a hall pass with clear restrictions: That it come from a professional care giver, like a physical therapist, providing a clear menu of service with no otherwise interactive relationship. It won't replace a loving wife, but a skilled BJ once a week or month could improve a man's outlook on life. If I faced that now, I would accept it.
