I was the one who texted him every day. Most of the time he wouldn't text first and when I wasn't busy I would wait for him to text me but what he did yesterday shocked me and I'm crying. I can't stand it.

Just let it go. If he was actually interested he will find a way to reconnect with you. And you just start searching for someone that’s interested in you.

don't feel too bad, those online status icons can be really inaccurate. if this person doesn't want to talk to you, i'd try to move on. there's nothing you can do from that point so don't dwell on it too long! there will be someone, someday, who will drop everything just to talk to you and you won't have to see if they're active or not online to determine if they're ignoring you or not

They're trying not to disappoint you but doing it in an insensitive way. Or perhaps they're trying to keep you as a back up.

It's up to you to remove yourself or confront them but be prepared for the truth to hurt.

Make the conscious effort to allow yourself to move on and let go. This is hard for many people and it's ok if it's hard for you to do. The reality is the answer is that simple but actually doing it can be difficult. I hope you feel better
