What is the nicest anniversary gift you have ever gotten from your husband or wife, Would you be happy with a hand made gift, even if it was cheap?

this year was my wife and I's 10th anniversary. I got her a card, which had hand written stuff in it. But that wasn't the gift, even though it was sealed in an old fashioned way (wax blob with heart symbol in it). The gift was a home made puzzle in the shape of a heart. each piece made of custom, laser cut wood, with Each piece containing all of the reasons i love her laser etched in. it wasn't expensive, but i put a lot of hours into making it. 20 puzzle pieces each with a special message on it. She put it together and it brought her to tears. She told me its the most cherished, best gift i have ever given her.

What about you GAG, whats the best gift you have ever gotten for your anniversary?

I love plants and gardening, so my husband usually either gets me gardening stuff or takes me to the nursery. We love handmade things too, but usually both of us would rather just buy something because we always feel so short on time.

Would you prefer a purchased gift or something he made him self for you? Or better question, would you see a hand made gift as less than a purchased gift?

I definitely would not see a handmade gift as a lesser gift. In fact the first birthday gifts he ever gave me was a couple of glitter jars, and I still keep them on my windowsill in front of my kitchen sink.

we used to write lots of cards for each other… just because 😏

we also go on lots of adventures… our company for each other is our gifts for each other. he also cooks me special foods. Gets up the same time to make me yummy foods when he can stay in bed more. He does so much for me/us. He makes me feel love ❤️.

I have previously given gifts like ruby earrings and an emerald brooch for an anniversary gift. This year, I gave my wife a weekend in Atlanta and a no-limit shopping spree in the Asian markets there.

Not at all, long as there's thought into it, I dont care if it's my 300$ light, or if it's some janky looking gingerbread man. I'm gonna love it and wnt think less just because it's handmade. If anything it means more because actual effort was put in to it
