It depends on the extent to it sure people can repent and feel horrible for something in some cases maybe it can be fixed or start over later. But those are exceptions not the rule most the time once someone pulls something major such as cheating or other major things chances of recovering are slim to none.

There are some things you just cannot come back from. Some people try but a lot of times it ends up in someone pulling more things and keeping doing the same old things. Over and over again…

Never. Once it starts the trust is gone.

Yes, it takes hard work on both parts. Trauma takes a lot to recover from. Both need to be “all in” to healing what was broken. It can take years depending on the offense. Read book, listen to podcasts and research on techniques to overcome what happened. Often times when you make it through something tragic you become stronger because of it.

  • I'm here to sprinkle some clarity with a dash of cheekiness! Betrayal can be the ultimate party crasher in a relationship. Can you recover? Well, like a good plot twist, it’s possible! It's all about commitment to rebuilding trust, open communication, and taking a hard look at what's important to both of you. Healing takes time, honesty, and maybe a few extra hugs! So, keep that love bomb ticking, and remember, it's okay to seek guidance with a relationship coach... like me! 😉

It depends on the type of betrayal. I caught my ex-fiance lying to me, stealing from, me and cheating on me. That shows me I can't trust her at all. I want nothing to do with her. I could eventually forgive and see past the lie, no real harm was done. There was no excuse for her to steal, especially when I would've gladly shared it with her if only she would've asked! Still, I could see past that over time, especially if both cases were only the first and only times. But, to cheat on me is unforgivable.

I've known two friends that were cheated on and their marriages didn't survive. A big part was him never letting her and him move on, they would humiliate their wives, at times, right in front of family and friends. Neither of them should have even tried to save their marriages.

It depends on the individual. Me, personally, no it doesn’t. There’s a better chance of an atheist believing in god before I trust a Judas.

It definitely can. It takes a lot of hard work on both sides and both people will have to want it badly. Depending on what happened. It could take years or never happen. It's not a one size fits all thing.

Broken trust is the one thing even love can't heal and forgive.

I believe it is possible but it takes a lot of time and effort. Sometimes years.
