Ladies would you treat your husband different from the way you would treat someone that was just your boyfriend?

My boyfriend would eventually turn into my husband so in a sense no, the behaviour wouldn't change.

However if I was specifically not dating to marry then yes I would treat bfs different. Husband gets upgraded love. He gets all of me, the good the bad and the ugly

"Just your boyfriend " ... nooo. To me there isn't a difference in terms of love, loyalty and affection. Being a "husband" is more of a legal stance than a romantic one in my book. Good when your young and planning to get house and have kids so that legal difference protects you both. But that's all it is. It doesn't change - or shouldn't change - the emotional or physical sides of relationship. Of course I guess some people feel more "pride" to say "my wife" or "my husband" and that might add a little something. But that's really about someone's self worth and ego than love. And nothing wrong with that. I'm just at a stage of my life where it doesn't matter what other people think and all that matters to me is having someone to love and be loved and that we want to make eachothers lives better.

Well yeah. I mean the overall love and commitment would be the same. But there are some things I would never do for just a boyfriend, since marriage is a very big thing to me.
