My boyfriend is upset with and ignoring me. What should I do?

Ok so the other day I said something that was petty and selfish. He definitely was not happy with me. I apologized for it. He said he loved me and hung up. I asked if he would call me when he got back to his house he told me no and that he didn't want to talk to me and to let him cool off. Well I didn't exactly listen and I kept trying to get ahold of him so we can talk about it. But he told me to leave him alone. He did call me last night. And then this morning I tried calling him he told me he didn't want to talk to me, which hurt so anyways he's been ignoring me and not answering my calls or texts and when he does its super short and I'm not sure what to do or how to fix it.

how about leave him a message that he can come over and beat you up to smitherines. you won't complain at all and then 2 days later, assuming you are able to talk, you can both talk. One such hook is "S! x" which is often a release, but I'm trying to get a point across.

obviously that's a smidge sarcastic to get physically beat up... but guys are physical and girls are moreso emotional. Women want to talk and work out the issue... because it makes them feel good and secure, which is all they seek.. feeling secure. Guys feel hurt and within feel rage and anger and all sorts... so they want to escape the pain else if keeps going, it goes ballastic phyisical, rage, etc.. Not all guys, many.

I'm sorry is nice, but kinda useless. "I'm sorry I got angry and broke your ribs. oops." What would that mean to you? I think you'd want more than I'm sorry, you'd want to know why that happened and that it isn't gonna happen again. You'd want to understand what happened that lead to it and how it will be avoided in the future... to avoid the pain.

Now you understand where he is coming from. That said, he is not holding up his side of this and needs to learn how to handle a woman. You are normal, he needs to grow... from what is briefly written here... it's essential to stay engaged to learn to communicate and work out issues so they don't linger. Running is a sign of avoidance.

So he needs to recognize this and you can share this information with him. I used to do the same thing. I had to learn to stay "in the fight". It's just pain... understand the source of the pain, and the deliverers intent. If he feels you are intentionally Fing with him, then time to engage a 3rd party to rationalize his viewpoint or work harder to understand where you are coming from. Some things hurt... but are true. We get to know each other such that a pin prick can feel like a knife... we do have to learn to moderate our words, to help each other grow in a loving and encouraging way. That's the work of relationship.

Me personally no longer waits for a girl that demands space from me , I will gladly give her the peace and quiet and space she is requesting from me , but I may or may not wait for her return. Time to be strong and go find something else to do, a distraction, because blowing up his phone will only make him feel more empowered and entitled to bad behavior. Basically, he isn’t handling this the right way whatsoever. You said something wrong, fine. You apologized and from there on it’s up to him to either forgive and agree to move past it or end the relationship because he can’t let that go. But keeping you in this state of limbo dealing with his wishy washiness is unfair, it’s cold. I am positive that at some point in your relationship he’s said something that was wrong or upset you yet you let that go. In any case, take a break from reaching out.
