I’m 4 months pregnant with our child, my first his third. Currently with the situation at hand his first baby mama is taking him to court for custody of the first two children. Where she labeled me as a witness and they made us separate (me back at my parents house and him staying at our house) because of the situation. They won’t let him have any contact with me whatsoever even though I told the court I don’t want no involvement but there forcing me to. And not to forget that me and him had a pretty bad argument where he said some disrespectful things and decided that couples therapy and working on ourselves to fix our relationship will be best. Which before they said he couldn’t talk to me we still had a healthy relationship and said I love you and everything. I’ve been sending him updates about the baby and everything where he used to react to the messages but now he doesn’t. It just makes me worried with the situation at hand if he has nothing to do with me and our child anymore or he’s thinking it’s my fault when it’s all his first baby mamas doing. I don’t know if I’m overthinking it or they said him reacting to the messages was him communicating with me but I’m seriously worried because I want the father of my child in his life but until this situation is over with I won’t know for certain. It’s just absolutely heartbreaking for me that my baby is having to go through this and that this is suppose to be a happy time in my life when it’s not. I need guidance.

you do need guidance. I know a guy like this I talk to, but there isn't much talking sense into him, that is a long process. the problem was in his childhood upbringing... probably without a father.

so he's a child, we all have issues to work on to become good partners and parents. If he's stepping up to that, that is good. I cannot tell with what you wrote.

but he's got severe stress from the other woman and life and he is primary actor in the stress, not her.

he probably wants to jump off a bridge from the stress, so more thank likely, will run to another woman and make another baby.

Its unfortuante you chose this person. probably best thing you can do is go to church and find a good group of people for support and rebuild your mind, life and try to establish a solid family for benefit of your child.

Find another culture to immerse yourself in and absorb and vomit out the old one. If you want to be patient and try to build somethign with him go ahead, but I don't like what I hear, might be hard work.

I'm a step parent and things can go really well, when people are mature adults and work together to create a solid and stable enviornment for the children.

This is the #1 horror that keepds screwing Black Americans as far as I can tell. Happens in white america as well, and to a small extent in Chinese america that I've seen. It creates fatherless and wild children that are prone to fail. You can succeed, but get into positive environments.

Therapy sure... work, not always successful because it's work and people finger point rather than work on themselves. Absorb Christ yes, easier work. Work on improving yourself yes, work, good work.
