Have you ever had a secret relationship you hid from friends and family? Was it for religious reasons, maybe your family wouldn't approve of something about that person, maybe you were in the closet, maybe it was totally inappropriate (like they were married) and you knew it was wrong.

Did your relationship last or it tanked once the secret was out?

I briefly dated a jehovah witness in high-school. He had a older brother the year above and they both looked like Taylor lautner and twilight had use came out so all my female class mates were crazy for them. They couldn't go anywhere without girls chasing them.

I thought Tim the younger brother who was in my year was way out my league so I never bothered to find him attractive but all my friends fancied the pants off him. I'd make a joke out of it and tease my friends when he was around and would say stuff like "omg it's Tim, Tim have my babies" 🤣.

He actually found it funny and when he got abit older 15/16 he started asking my friends about me. I was very much a good girl compared to most my fellow students and I think he liked that and the fact I had good banter.

There was one time my mum was shopping in the supermarket and I was getting changed out of my school uniform in the back of the car after school. I didn't realise Tim mum was also shopping and he was in the back of another car watching me with his brother. His mum caught them and she gave me a dirty look and screamed at bouth the boys.

I confronted him about it the next day at school and he apologised and said he was just really interested in me.

I said he could make it up to me by being my partner in travel and tourism a class we both did together. He used it as excuse for us to have little mini dates at lunch and we sat next to each other of the bus holding hands and sharing snacks together.

We went to the zoo together on a school trip and we ran off to make out. A monkey jumped out on my and he slipped and fell and hurt his ankle. I had to help him back and all the teachers asked why we ran off alone together. Hid mother was told about everything and that's when the relationship ended.

Years later when I started college I saw him in the park Jesus preaching. He went bright red as soon as he saw me and stopped to ask how I was and said he "really hoped I was doing well and that I deserved to be happy just not with him unfortunately"

Me personally never had a secret relationship but I been with girls’ that kept me a secret a bunch of times , that I didn't even know I was a secret , to eventually find out the truth. that they were married or in a relationship with someone else already. Unfortunately this type of shit happens more than we like to think it does with guys’ and girls’

When I was 16, I was dating a 23 years old guy, it was long distance and I hid it from my family because I knew they wouldn't approve the age gap and long distance. it took a few months then I broke up. Now I'm 21 years old and I see why my family wouldn't approve. It was not appropriate at all and thank god I got no harm
