It’s crazy that he said that to you , but how is he to you and your son otherwise? Is he loving and caring or is he controlling and mean and abusive to you and does he keep tabs on you ? If he is controlling and mean land abusive , then you need to go to your local magistrate and file a PFA on his ass , and if he comes anywhere near you he will be arrested the second you call the cops on him. Unfortunately some partners’ become very possessive of their girlfriend nor boyfriend , and say stupid shit because they are insecure and don’t want to be cheated on. Unfortunately n this type of shit happens in a lot of relationships. So if you feel threatened and you are being controlled and abused by him , you need to protect yourself as much as possible and do what you have to do. I dated a few psycho girls’ through the years that made threats to me that she was going to stab me in my sleep or poison my food , if I end up cheating on her , I laughed and told her she is crazy and that she needs serious help. The one girl chased me with a knife during an argument because I talked to a girl I ran into that I went to school with , I ended up getting away from her and called the cops , and pressed charges on her ass , she is no longer allowed to be anywhere near me , after that she started stalking me and I had her arrested. People can be fucking nuts without you realizing they are. Why I no longer relish into a relationship with a girl , I make sure I really get to know her before I even consider being her boyfriend, I even make sure I check her medicine cabinet lol

You need to form a plan to keep yourself safe first. Talk to a counsellor or a domestic violence support line to help you with this. The most dangerous stage in a violent relationship is generally when you decide to separate from him. That may involve finding safe accommodation where he cannot find you for at least the first couple of weeks while you pursue some of the other options users in this thread, like seeking restraining orders, filing charges against him etc. If you don't take action to secure your safety first, the risks to you and your son are extreme. This is not normal behaviour on his part. He has committed a crime already.
