I cheated once and I didn’t have an excuse because I immediately confessed the truth that I cheated on her and told her it’s best we go our separate ways ways , She wanted to give me another chance which I was shocked as to why? She said it’s because I was honest about it , I said that is very sweet of you but you deserve better so you are best to find someone that wouldn’t cheat on you , she said why are you going to see her again? I said No because she has a boyfriend as well that she cheated on with me , I said I feel so bad for cheating on you even though you and I weren’t doing well, it isn’t an excuse for me cheating on you , so it’s best we go our separate ways , and then I hugged her and said I hope we can still be friends. She said Yes and then got in her car and left , a few days later she showed up on my doorstep wearing sexy lingerie underneath her long jacket and we ended up screwing again even though the sex was amazing , I still felt guilty for what I did and told her let’s just remain friends’ with benefits , I ended up screwing her a few more times after that but eventually she met someone else and I was actually happy for her

I’m not a cheater and if I told someone I was I was fucking with them lol. The main reason people cheat is because they wanted to have sex and don’t have integrity or self control. Other times it can be deeper such as needing more of a emotional connection with someone. But someone who is loyal will leave a relationship they won’t cheat.
