Apparently William Shakespeare in Othello first used the expression "wear your heart on your sleeve" It's likely the phrase comes from medieval jousts.
Are you open with your emotions, or do you keep them hidden?

No unfortunately life and it's negative experiences taught me at the age of 11 that I couldn't do that because it enabled people to have access to my vulnerability and consequently hurt me somehow. So I manage my emotions internally and I only show them with people I trust.
I try not to unfortunately people can tell how I'm feeling by the facial expression, body language and or tone in my voice.
Depends on the situation, like who it’s with and whether it’s online or in person.
I usually maintain a stoic facade but sometimes, that wall crumbles.
