What would you consider "too intimate" a gesture for someone who isn't your boyfriend/girlfriend/so?

I would say any sort of touch where you’re too close. I remember one year I had this female colleague who was going through something. We were outside leaving work for the night. She started crying. I consoled her by giving her a hug, trying to reassure her things would be ok. Somehow the hug ended up w her on my side w one of her hands around my back and the other on my chest while she leaned on shoulder. That was too intimate for me. I think she realized it too cause she pulled back then apologized. To me even just bumping into each other to creat that contact says it’s more than just a friendship.

I would say kissing is too much for me. If I'm going to kiss or go further than that, I'd prefer we consider ourselves in a relationship. I'm not one of those people that say "It's just a kiss"

There isn't a blanket answer as boundaries depend on the individual. With that said, I just keep my hands to myself as a default setting to err on the side of caution until I know what's safe. I'm not all that touchy-freely.
It's only close female friends whom I've known for a long time where I'd greet or say goodbye to them with a kiss.

If I’m in a relationship / seeking a relationship with someone else and I get ‘these types of interactions’, I’d call them too intimate with the following:

Flirting , Touching , Sharing Personal ‘TMI’ Including Sex / Sex Partners , and Trying To Get My Attention.
I’d put all these in the “too intimate” category.

Again, someone who isn’t a love interest of me (AKA a crush) or my romantic partner then I would put these into the “too intimate” category.
