From what I see is they regret it that they got caught. If you love someone before you cheat you think about it many times and they still make the choice to do it. They only regret it because now the whole family and friend get to judge you for cheating on there wife.

If they would a minimum of decency or dignity, they would not cheat. Cheating is not just physical but can also be emotional, like watching porn or flirt with other people.

i would not know because i do not cheat. if i am unhappy with my girl for whatever reason then i let her know so she can decide whether she wants to change her behavior or leave. The only time i would seek another partner while i am in a committed relationship is if i were married and my wife is not interested in sex anymore. I do not want to be in a sexless marriage and i likely won't want to deal with a divorce so i would let my wife know that if she does not want to have sex with me anymore for reasons other then health reasons that i will respect her wishes but i will want to find a mistress or alternative relationships that are willing to fulfill that need for me. i hate lying so I would rather be honest about what I am doing.

There is no excuse for cheating. If you are unhappy, talk about it, see a counselor and sort it out. If love isn't there anymore, then just end it. "It was an accident" is usually the excuse. How? They know they willingly hurt their partner and now it's hurts them.
