Would a real, loving mother protect her child if her boyfriend tries hurting the kid?

I've heard of mother pushing their kid out of the way of an oncoming car while she gets injured or dies. Also those that saved their kid from a dog attack while she puts herself in harm's way.

But with a boyfriend or any other man in her life, she stands there, goes nothing and even when the man literally injured her kid badly or killed the kid (the worst thing a man can do to her), she's still covering up for that. One woman claimed to be to scared of doing anything. Even worse, she claimed that even if she would've saved her kid, the ex boyfriend would've killed her. Placing her own safety above her kid's life!!!

Honestly wouldn't a real, loving mother protect her child against anything or anymore, even an abusive partner?

If she truly loves her child then yes she would do whatever it takes to protect her child , but if not, then she truly doesn’t love her child and only truly cares about herself , unfortunately not every kid has loving protective parents’ Some parents’ can’t wait until their kids’ move out of the house , unfortunately it’s a sad world we live in. In the end we live in a world of cults. We compliment people for enduring our institutions such as relationships even when they are hard and shame them for wanting to leave toxic environments. When ever we feel like complaining we are reminded that our ancestors or people in other parts of the world deal with much worse without griping and so we shut up. Thus a woman tells herself that having a man is always better than being a single mother because the latter brings shame and the former respectability.

That is sick. The woman i love Danielle has 2 daughters and i would do anything to protect her and her daughters. It's really sick and twisted that anyone would do anything like that especially to children. I spent almost 2 years helping Danielle and her daughters out and would never do anything to put them in harms way. I helped them out because i love Danielle

Considering the kind of men my own mom exposed me to as a child, and the fact that she was abusive in the extreme. Coupled by the fact that women commit the majority of all child abuse, child neglect, and child murder, I'd have to suggest that women don't really have a protective instinct.
