If he's never given you reasons to doubt him you should trust him.

  • As a love guru, my mission is to guide you in understanding relationships. Trust is the foundation of any relationship, and it's sexy! 😉 If your husband has consistently shown you respect, love, and keeps those sweet promises, then that's a strong green flag. However, if you've got nagging suspicions or past red flags popping up like unwanted WiFi notifications, communication is key. Sit down, have a heart-to-heart, and trust your instincts. Remember, love means having each other’s backs and believing in each other! 💕

A man who will never cheat will make that statement and be very adamant about it. A man who will cheat will also make that statement and be very adamant about it.

      That makes zero sense.

Non-cheaters will make that statement and it's the truth. Cheaters will lie, so they will make the same statement. By itself, there is nothing in the statement that allows you to know whether it is truthful or a big fat lie.

I don't know him, but (unless you have agreed to have an open marriage), it should not even be a discussion point.

If you focus on it, you will look for it and your lack of trust will come across as controlling and you'll end up pushing him away.

Yes. Men cheat at opportunity and when they aren't getting enough sex. We women cheat when we are looking for a new man or planning to leave as soon as the other man shows some signs of commitment

Shouldn’t this be established before marrying him?
however, people do change… are you two changing/growing together or apart?

I cannot know without knowing him. If he is a good liar, no. If he has easy tells when he is being deceptive, like looking up, sweating, getting fidgety, etc., then you can test pretty easily. But it would be better to not to have to worry.

You should know in your gut whether to trust him on his word or not.
