Is three months too soon to move on and be open for love?

My long-distance boyfriend I broke up three months ago. He made the decision because he wasn’t ready to commit to marriage or a long lasting plans yet.
I definitely thought we would be the one for each other so now three months later I still have nothing but love and gratitude for him, but I feel like my heart is craving the love and finding the right person to build a family with in the long run.

There really is no time limit for those things. Take the time you need to heal. Whenever I’ve experienced breakups I threw myself into the gym, friends, and other hobbies. It helps you heal and can potentially lead you to your next relationship. LDRs are hard tho. Hopefully your next relationship is someone you’re able to see more often and it ends out working out

I think that's fine, yes. Everyone has their healing times and their own pace to recover and move on. I don't think you can generalize. That's a pretty individual thing. Depends on who you are, who your partner was, how the breakup happened, and so many other things.

Three months sounds like a decent amount of time. You do want to avoid just jumping right into another relationship without the time to re-group but three months sounds good. However it is all individual and every circumstance is different.
