I'd prefer two kids, to replace us when we die, but it shouldn't end the relationship.
My then-wife and I had 2 kids, both boys, which was fine with me, I was finished having kids. But she wanted a daughter, and one night she seduced me and our daughter was born 9 months later.
I have never had a kid so I do not know from a sober and honest point of view, how many kids I would want. Only if I gave birth to the first one, would I have a sober guideline for knowing how many kids I actually want.
That’s a deal breaker to me cuz i don’t want any kids. I also don’t want someone that wants kids to not have any because of me either.

Fine by me. At my age, one child would be quite enough, lol.
We have always been on the same page with that.
