Nope. It's not bad at all. We should all (within reason) follow our own path, make our life ours and unique.

That being said, I do suggest (with this and in general) that you keep an open mind and always consider other options.

Because countless times throughout history, people who were wrong thought they were right. And many of them could have greatly benefitted from considering other options or perspectives. Being dead-set in your ways is never a good idea.

That doesn't mean you must change your ways, merely that you should always consider it a possibility.

Additionally, perspectives and preferences change over time. You never know how you'll feel in 15 years.
