It means something is missing in your relationship with him if his main focus in video games then something is lacking in your relationship with him , it could be lack of communication, lack of intimacy and affection , Have you both been arguing lately? It could be resentments towards you so he is giving you the silent treatment,. Only you can figure this out by having a sit down talk with him about it

4 moIt means, he doesn't really NEED a girlfriend!! Look at all the companionship time you're losing out on because he wants to play stupid video games!! And, what for? Video game status? More points than someone else? He SHOULD be trying to score points with YOU!!! He needs to get a life!! It kinda sounds like you should find a better life!! There's LOADS of guys out there that'd LOVE to have a girlfriend and can't find one!! I spent most of the past 30 years trying to find one!! I FINALLY got one just over a year ago!!
Yeah, I know, you love him! Well, love is a two-way street!! If you're doing all the giving and none of the getting, maybe you should look for someone else!
Quietly go to another part of the house for a while and see how long it takes him to notice you're gone.00 Reply
1.7K opinions shared on Relationships topic. That simply means that his has set his priorities differently and that you are only number 2 or even lower. Gaming seems to have the priority for him.
He is probably addicted to gaming which is a huge red flag in any relationship. I would place that addiction on the same level as drugs, gambling or smoking.
Seek the contact with him and give him an ultimatum. Either he spends more time with you and prioritizes you over his addiction or then you have no other solution than to:
1. Seek psychological help for him. He needs to realize that he has an issue and needs specialized follow-up.
2. Leave him and sever that toxic relation.
He may not react well to those 2 solutions but if he fails to realize that he has an issue, then you owe it to yourself to leave.

I agree with the opening, and gaming addiction is possible. But your leaving one possibility out, maybe he just doesn't enjoy the things they do when they spend time together to the point where he isn't really interested. This isn't automatically fully on him, so before going full ultimatum its a good idea to find out first why this is even a thing with a more gentle approach. Just bring it up and find a solution together. Its a way healthier approach than immediately jumping the gun.
That 1... your hobbies are different, because if you also play games you can play together. And 2... Sorry to say it, you might not be his number 1, and I don't say that you Should be. But you two, together should be his priority. He is currently living as if he is single again. So you either see if he lets you into his gaming world and who knows, you might like it too and then you'll spend more time with him naturally. Or you have a talk with him so he can get his priorities straight and tell him what you want to do with him together. But if it doesn't change, I don't see this relationship last, to be honest.

Typical ignorant comment.
1.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Its pretty obvious, the games are more interesting than doing things with you. There is a big imbalance there in the relationship. Either he finds games to interesting to where he may be addicted, or your not doing things together he actually enjoys.
00 ReplyHe either, doesn't like you, is immature or there is something going on. Maybe he's not feeling well/mentally ill and games are his escape. He could also just be addicted. But trust me, if a guy only plays video games, even though he has a beautiful women on his side, waiting to spend time with him, then something is wrong no matter what. Talk to him about it.

When I have company I don't use my mobile phone or other devices.
When there are times and you are busy again - don't know if you love together, visit him, how far you maybe live away... - or you talked about his hobby then it is ok.

4 moI don't know, I'd sure be hanging out with the girl I was with. Walking on the beach long after dark deep in philosophical discussion. Hiking, riding bikes, going to museums, road trips. Lots and lots of pick nicks, I love pick nicks.

4 moSounds like he's avoiding spending time with you and that it's not important to him.
Was this always true? Or is this a recent development?00 Reply 9.9K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I hope your boyfriend is not even close to the same age as you. I wouldn't expect that behavior from an 18-year-old, let alone anyone older.

Oh yea. Men are also tired of the ignorant “he is immature because he plays video games” and what do you call bitchy and catty behaviour and carrying on like a insecure child because he isn't paying attention to you. I wonder why. Real mature!
