I don't think anyone can tell you how you should answer that.

For me, if someone is hard-working then I don't care what their wage rate is. When I was your age it was more important because I wanted shared resources to buy a house and raise a family. If they are lazy, can't hold a job because they are unpleasant to work with, if drug addictions mean they insufficiently reliable to work effectively, if they spend a lot on stuff they really don't need... not as a special splurge, just as any old Saturday at the shops, if they are carrying debt and don't have a committed, detailed plan to discharge it... well those are some pretty strong indicators that they are unsuitable to have a relationship with because financial instability is probably just the visible tip of the iceberg.

For me, the question isn't which is more important. Without love the rest of it is irrelevant. It's a threshold. The question I would ask is among all those people I love or could love, am I comfortable with the level of financial stability I expect to enjoy with this person, together with everything else I know about their personality, etc.

Am I making any sense at all? I can never tell. Financial stability isn't much of a reason to enter a relationship, but instability sure can be a reason not to.

Everyone needs money, especially these days, but that is hardly essential. What you need is personality, kindness, compassion, respect, intelligence, a sense of humour, honesty, integrity, good communication skills, and shared interests and values. Anything else is just a bonus.

Yes definitely.
If one of you or both of you are jealous type, you are going to fight upon how others relationships are one will argue with money, how much you make. Other on love.
A very basic stability is needed to be better and honest cause as soon as you lie about finances it goes in a downward spiral.
