So I have a friend at work. She’s an older woman and she’s been remarried and divorced around four times and wants to remarry again?

She basically lived with her first husband that she has two kids with for like 16 years and she divorced him because he cheated on her but she let him so she stayed. She said the longest because of her kids then she found someone else. She only stayed with him for like a few years until he had to go to jail so she divorced him then she found someone else again that she did not Marry. I think she just lived with him for like five years and then she married a man that she found online and live with them for five years that I guess last relationship she had and she divorced him now she hasn’t even finalized her divorce and she’s talking about how she wants to meet a man again Because her life is not complete. I’m not trying to be mean or anything. I mean, I hope the best for her, but do anyone else agree with me that maybe it’s just a sign for her to just chill and just settle down on her own and enjoy her life. I mean, she got grandkids. You know her own kids she’s not like she’s all alone. What do y’all think

I think she is a little messed up right now and doing more than one processe at a time with her own divorce, so as she is having 2 separate process about your love life, your past etc she can be both uplifting and putting you down too. She make no sense on either of these 2 as she needs to drive them both, park her cars at the end of the road and come to a realization. She is a little bit there and a little bit over here, she lacks the ability to come to something like an analytic closure. She could too be someone copy phrases here and there so that you might confuse her with someone who actually knows what she's talking about?

If I were u I would tell her that from now on respect your wish for her to not bring up your ex or your love life. You tell her ypu wish to focus on other things. If she brings it up again you say to her sweetie, remember what I said before? I prefer to not talk about it. If she protest you get up and say oh look at the time... or Im just gonna grab a cup of Coffee that doesn't talk about my ex to me, you mind? You can too not reply at all, look sort of through her in dead silence for a while, or change the subject, or just yawn and start looking and doing some work. There are many ways to do. If you have headphones put them on. You do what it takes til she gets the message.

I don't like what she is up to because she has crossed a boundary with you. You opened up your heart, confided to her about your ex and so on. She should know you trusted her with that, she was picked, honored with that. Not everyone deserves to hear your story. By now she is misusing that and initiate your story when ever she feels like. Not OK. This can too bring up stuff you need a break from and as you are at your job you have to be professional.

If she is a true friend she would not bring this up again once you told her to respect your wish.

Thank you I agree I do feel like I’ve had opened up my heart too much more than I need at work yet if you look around more of them have issues than you think of there own and if she was a true friend yea she wouldn’t have brought it up

she's trying to find something to fill in herself and trying to get from another. So she needs emotional discovery and spiritual healing. I applaud her energy and ability to adapt and make decisions.

It's a personality and emotional issues, don't take on her stuff but if you want to be a sounding board and ear go ahead. I've seen these types, there's usually a lot of emotions underneath.

She actually believes in Christ the saver she goes to church on Sundays and she mentioned a lot, but you know nowadays you can not go by peoples so-called faith because a lot of people consider themselves Christians but they live on godly life but but yeah, she is a Christian so you think that Jesus would be enough for her to trust him But I really do think she just needs to give it a minute and just give yourself a break mentally and physically, and then maybe eventually potentially find someone that she can settle down for the rest of her life God willing but right now I just feel like she didn’t even officially finalize her divorce And she’s already gone on dating apps trying to find a man going out with different men seeing what’s out there

Yes true, Jesus is part of the picture... at least she has somewhere to lean on for strength, probably where she gets a lot of drive from. But those hidden emotional issues can lurk and people avoid them forever.
She's on her path, there's reasons.
One thing that is amazing... she has skills... she can keep finding guys when other women cannot find one. Seen guys like that as well.
Truth is... the sub conscious minds are what "map" to each other... it's familiarity. They are working to resolve emotions, so she is working on herself by finding "love". In it, she will find herself and God.
True for all of us I think. Of course, we just want what we want, but it's not that easy when everyone is so selfish and so many damaged, each in their own ways.

Seems like she's had a string of bad luck eith men. But it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with her she may very well be a good person. She could very well be a loving individual who just has bad luck when it comes to men
