5 moI can only answer for mysef and it has been that I've felt nothing but pride that he's my man, but I find it disrespectful of her if she knows I'm with him. I have zero tolerance if the guy knows she is hitting on him and he doesn't respond like he should when in a relationship with me. I have been told I'm jealous when I was right al along about a girl/situation as in him pointing the finger at me as if I was in the wrong. I was/am not easily jealous, I've learned, I myself am pretty friendly, open but not flirting with guys, and it's always been highly unusual for me to feel attraction/chemistry, I too have been in lots of environments with mixed or the dominant part being guys, without chemistry but a common interest in the logic, analytical environment I don't know but that could be a reason why I never thought of before when my exes had female friends in groups or been OK with it. If I'm not OK with it it is because I sense something very much so. I never understood those who think jealousy is a fun game to expose their partner too, it's nothing but cruel and being uncaring of the person who loves you and you love in return. I still have trauma left from an ex, supossebly bipolar into a jealous psychotic state or what on earth that was about. To see that torment in him and to live thtough it I wouldn't wish on nobody. It's not a game. It's not something to feel pride about a partner being jealous but unfortunately I think there are people who don't get this and how dangerous it can be. I absolutely hate jealousy. If you search on it there are several kinds. Right now I am in a somewhat limbo state as my partner has connected with a girl who has crossed a line that to me is not about friendship and support and instead of putting his foot down he welcomed her further into the picture. All I can say is I feel it in my bones and ir is as if she is between us in a way to make it impossible for us to connect, when and at a time I thought both our priority was to get closer and move on to greater things. Not the time for me or him to get overly engaged in a friend of the opposite gender that is acting offish as far as being just a friend concerns. I still am, no matter how anyone else feel about it, we can be different that way, OK with guys and girls being friends but it should be in certain frames if not to get in between a guys or girls relationship with their partner. My partner claims this is who he is, that empathic, but I know she is using that and his fear if he says or do the wrong thing she will feel worse mentally or kill herself. Pretty much the same jail sort of a situation he once was born into, same trap. That along with being too kind and "not doing anything" in return when he does notice a girl hitting on him to him finally reacting but then too much so against it does not make it fair to the girl, to him, or me. I have seen someone else (a girl) be like that, she doesn't react until she suddenly overreacts, and she too has had a parent who has abused position in power, making her afraid to say something at first, til she finally can't hold it back. Her way of being has too caused trouble in her relationship, afraid of conflict til she (and partner) finally has had enough. It is problematic as it isn't the way to go, for anyone involved. If I say something I say it sooner, I state it but this is because I have never been afraid of an authority abusing their power or having a parent who make you codependant that way so you don't dare to say something or the parent will have massive eruption or threaten suicide. I think it is important in each individual and with every couple to not on a superficial level think Oh, she'/he's just jealous (meaning it is one or the other fsult), but find out why it is, it is a sign of something that is actually not about jealousy as we might at first look at it like, and see if you can fix it. in my opinion It is terrible to be jealous and to be the object of it. Each time my partner would get jealous of me in his past it was connected with anxiety, fear to loose me and feeling as if I was withdrawing and him thinking he looked bad etc. It wasn't something I had done. He would say before, in his past love life he wasn't like this and he would draw the line on what he thought was cheating, but when it came to me he would at first have those same rules but said to us, who was he kidding, he couldn't even stand the thought of me going outside when it was at its worst. He would experience being jealous of me as pure hell and wanted to be free of it, and was the one to tell me on his own how the jealousy worked on him, one of the reason he got help with anxiety. When he was doing better he would say he was free of it, when that was it was not as if I felt less loved by him, I only found him to be more with himself, as in stable. I think some unfortunately mix it up as in thinking it is the same jealousy and love, and to me it shouldn't be. Jealousy is when something is wrong, not right.

It's really different to meet someone and have a love relationship with. You certainly want to hang on to who you have found and hope you stay together.
Any threat of that being taken away from you is quite upsetting to say the least. I mean, who needs that crap?
It really gets me mad when someone tries to interfere with a relationship and trying to take away the person from the person they are with.
I mean... get off your butt and do the work it takes to find your own person! Don't go after someone who is already in a love relationship and start flirting with them - especially in front of the person who is with them.
This has happened to me a few times and it's not cool at all! I would never do that to anyone. But some people don't have any morals and will take someone away from another person and not even blink! They are heartless pieces of 💩11 Reply

5 moFalse. Women are just as territorial as they claim men are. A woman will dump you and then go out of her way to keep other women away from you. She doesn’t want you, and she doesn’t want them to have you either. It’s a twisted means of controlling you long after she has loosed her control of you.
Most women are entirely incapable of love to begin with. She is only with you for what you produce and provide. That’s at the heart of “jealousy”. She just doesn’t want to share your resources, not even with you. That’s why she will pretend to love you long enough to get married and then take everything in the divorce, including future resources. There is no love in women.30 Reply

5 moUmmm... you are 48 and and still find it confusing to distinguish an act of love from an act of hatred?

As a love guru here to spice things up, I'd say, love and jealousy are complicated dancers. Sure, a bit of jealousy can show care, but true love isn't just about guarding someone like a prized trophy. Trust, communication, and understanding are the real heart-stealers. If she's secure and confident in the relationship, she might not sweat the small stuff. So, I'm going with a friendly disagreement here, love isn't a game of jealousy points. 😉

5 moI don’t think jealousy and love are always indicative of the other.
You can be in love but not jealous. You can also be jealous but not in love.
40 Reply 2K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Ehhh, being “in love” is a bit of a stretch. Being jealous is just a normal response to feeling threatened or intimidated by an outside party.

5 moDisagree. That just means she is controlling.
10 Reply 308 opinions shared on Relationships topic. You don't even have to feel love to get jealous. I don't love my friends with benefits but I'd get jealous still. If there's no reaction she not only doesn't love you.. she actively can't wait to get rid of you/for you to move on!
in my opinion lol

5 moThat’s assuming the woman is with a guy because she actually likes him. Women are quick to get territorial over the Simps and friends zone guys and the men that keep around strictly to extract resources from. They have no love or sexual interest in these guys, but if another woman shows interest in them, they’ll get upset because it threatens that revenue stream

5 moThat's not always the case. Some girls are just downright possessive or just wants all the attention on them. It's not always love. Sometimes it's just being possessive.

5 moNot necessarily. She may just be an attention whore and not romantically or sexually interested
10 Reply Not always the case. Sometimes she just doesn't want someone else to be happy.

5 moPerhaps. It could also be a compulsive attitude which would most likely make me fall in love with her.

If a girl tries to make you jealous and is upset after you ignore her does that prove she likes you?
