The feelings crept up on me and gradually built over a year of a close friendship, where we saw each other through some tough times. Until I realised yesterday, while playing the song, Accidentally in Love, that I love him and that the song summed up how I feel.

Maybe not the mushy bit about strawberry ice cream. My girl best friend confirmed it. That I’m in love. I don’t know if he loves me in that way. I know he seems to be pursuing me. This is a slow burning love, that I feel. Not a blazing one. I don’t know how to progress. We’re both autistic and quite clueless and I didn’t expect it to be him.
