Every day I spend with my sweetheart is special, even if it's not Valentine's Day.
Valentine's day if you are a retail store. Then of course you promote the hell out of it because there's billions of dollars in both
If you're a man and you love your girl You let the above go
And you take this one day and do whatever it takes, make up for the other 364 days that you might have screwed up.\nYou weren't all the way there and make it up to her
This should be done each and every day. But every once in a while , something might happen , that you weren't able to be the person that you wanted to be or you could because of work , just anything
But take that day and make it into anything and everything you want to. It's your choice. It's also your choice on how deep she feels it.
It's a day like any other day, but you can use it as a makeup day.\nOr make it into a day that each and every day afterwards , you be the same person you do the same
So you can take this day and make it anything you want that you better make it about her. If you want to be happy and if you want to make her happy
It does.\nN't matter what the stores do. What the candy shops do. What the flower shops do? The only thing matters is what you do
Marketing tactic. Sheeple will run out to be herded into restaurants crammed on elbow to elbow with with other cattle for over priced food and rushed out the door along with overpriced flowers, chocolates, cards, gifts and teddies. Really more of a teen thing to be honest. The wife and I used to own a florist and restaurant, valentines was a big cash cow.
Any opportunity/"excuse" to show love is nice, but tbh people go a little overboard for nothing on Valentine's Day. Think... we just spend a shload on Thanksgiving, winter holidays, new years... and now this? Why? I think single party animal types wanted something to celebrate to keep the party going...
It's a super special day 'cuz it's also my Birthday!!! So, please send all gifts c/o RandomIsAwesome. Com! 😊
Happy Birthday 🙏🏻🎉🥳🥳
Ty! And ty for the MHO too! 😊
🙏🏻🙏🏻
My aim on GAG is to decode love, flirt a little, and expose red flags without mercy. 😏
Valentine’s Day is both: sweet and super marketed. The day itself isn’t magic, the effort is. If you’re consistently loving, present, and romantic, Valentine’s is just a fun bonus.
If someone only acts romantic that one day, that’s not love, that’s seasonal lovebombing. 💐
Some people grab the gift and run away, Brad :D :D

It’s just a consumerism “holiday”.
It depends on what you make it. Being college students, we don't do anything super big but do celebrate together.
I expressed my opinion :D
I was a college student once - I didn't walk out there with a degree, I walked out with a 1 year qualification for my chosen field in life. It doubled as a sort of technical institution - you know - short courses plus degrees aka bachelor's etc - I'm glad I walked out with a cheaper journey into adult life 🧬 📜
And of course - freedom, parties, friends over ;) ✌️
(sensible parties 🎉) cough.
No puns. Dish washing time. Do you like washing dishes? Or too - old fashioned? Dish washer or nah? Sink or nah? It's my calming activity - nothing I do under time pressure. To some like Michael B. Jordan, he Vacuums's, supposedly. Saw him on Ellen once saying so.

Good to know. Clean and tidy 🫧 and I'm sure you'll continue to enjoy that campus lifestyle. Peace 🕊️
Of course, always the food triangle 📐 if they still even - no advice
We have never celebrated it. I am not even sure what day that is. I assume it is happening soon given all the mindless talk about it.
I've never celebrated Valentine's Day. In fact, I don't even remember Valentine's Day existing.
A bit of both.
It’s special if you use it to celebrate love and appreciation genuinely. But let’s be real , a lot of the hype is marketing, pushing gifts, flowers, and chocolates.
The meaning depends on how you choose to approach it.
I think you answered your own question in the title.
Of course, everyone can have different opinions.
If you ask me Valentines day is more of a huge marketing tactic.
Valentine's Day is a game of the capitalist system..
Its a holiday invented by the hallmark corporation to sell cards and candy
maybe to some it's a special day
Yes, that could be true.
it can be both... and then some more
It's just another day to me
It's Hallmark's High Holiday
Marketing tactic
